Ohio sales and prices strengthened in June while supply remained tight.
Statewide transactions and median pricing rose year over year, but 3.54 months of supply remained well below the six-month balanced-market benchmark.
Ohio REALTORS reported 13,078 statewide home sales in June 2026, up 5.6% from June 2025. The statewide median sales price reached $285,000, up 3.6% year over year. Active listings reached 37,492, up 1.9%, while months of supply measured 3.54. The combination suggests more choice than in recent years without a fully balanced market. For sellers, presentation and pricing discipline still matter because buyers have more alternatives; for buyers, improving inventory can create more room to compare properties without assuming broad negotiating leverage across every segment.
